Goodwill: Retail Model and Growth
Presented by Ken Weber, CEO

Passion, drive and service are just a few of the forces that initially landed Ken Weber in the Goodwill Movement, and he has never looked back. A native of Wisconsin, Weber began his career with Goodwill Industries of North Central Wisconsin before joining Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland and East Central Ohio, Inc. in March of 2002 as President and CEO.

Under Weber’s direction, the local non-profit has more than quadrupled its annual revenue since 2002 and grown the number of people served annually from 1,600 to more than 24,000. In recent years, Weber has led the agency in a leadership development journey that ranges from growing current leadership to developing new through an Emerging Leader Program. Additionally, Weber brought with him a vision for a Community Campus of non-profits, which has recently come to fruition with the successful completion of a $4.3 million capital campaign and 19 non-profits working out of the Campus facility.

Weber has enjoyed volunteering in the community, and has been involved with Red Tree House, Canton Rotary Club, the Canton Museum of Art, United Way’s COMPASS Committee, Walsh University’s Advisory Board and the Ohio Association of Goodwill Industries to name a few. Weber was the founding Chairman of Leave a Legacy Stark County.

Weber and his wife, Sally, have been married for more than 40 years and have five grown children and three grandchildren.
