As a CMA® (Certified Management Accountant), you must complete 30 hours of continuing professional education (CPE) credits each year to maintain your CMA designation. Complete information regarding CPE compliance for CMAs can be found here.
As part of our regular practice, ICMA® (Institute of Certified Management Accountants) audits CPE compliance on a random basis to ensure requirements are being met. Our first check is of your IMA transcript history, which you can maintain in the My Profile section of your IMA account.
Credits earned through IMA-offered education are automatically recorded there, and you can enter CPE credits secured through other sources there as well. You can access your account and update your profile by visiting IMA’s homepage.
We strongly encourage you to use the Transcript section of your online profile to record your CPE. We appreciate your commitment to continuous learning and the CMA credential.
If you have any questions about accessing your account or CPE compliance for CMAs, please contact Member Services at (800) 638-4427 or +1 (201) 573-9000 (if outside North America) or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
