Holmes works at The J.M. Smucker Company as part of the Supply Chain Finance Initiatives team. He has had the opportunity to work on multiple acquisition and project teams since being hired in 2008. He played a key role in implementing manufacturing financials during the company's 2013 database upgrade and now works extensively on process and data restructuring.
Chris holds a BSBA and MBA from Ashland University and also has the CPA, CMA and CGMA designations.
He first joined IMA as a student in 2006 where he served in the newsletter and PR role for the Ashland student chapter. He currently serves as Director of Meeting Arrangements for the Canton Chapter of the IMA. He has a special interest in enabling professionals to gain better insights through analyzing and combining data that they already have available in their organization.
This session will place a strong emphasis on presenting information differently and increasing personal efficiency.

Pillsbury: Baking 101
John Fox is a Consumer Foods SBA Finance Manager at the J.M. Smucker Company, a leading marketer and manufacturer of center-of-the-store food products and pet foods based in Orrville, Ohio. Since 1897, Smuckerís has helped families share memorable meals and moments through familiar iconic brands such as Smuckerís, Folgers, Jif, Pillsbury, Crisco, and Eagle Brand.
John has over 6 years of experience with the company in a variety of roles, including Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, and SBA Finance. His focus has been primarily on business financial analysis and strategy, including support of products within the fruit spreads, toppings, frozen handheld, canned milk, baking, syrups, pancakes, shortening, and oils categories.
Currently, John provides financial analysis for the baking, syrups, pancakes, and milk categories at Smuckerís. His group maintains plan, forecast, and actual income statements for each category, and provides ad hoc proforma analysis to evaluate new products or business opportunities.
John is a graduate of Ashland University with a B.S. in Accounting and Finance and a Masters in Business Administration. As a student, he served as president of the IMA Student Chapter at Ashland and has presented at both the IMA National Student Leadership Conference and Canton chapterís annual student night. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a member of both the AICPA and OSCPA.
John resides in Clinton, Ohio with his wife, Emily. He is actively involved in Norton Grace Church, and instructs a Christian Financial Management course.
