President's Letter
Seasons Greetings from the Canton IMA

Dear Canton IMA Members,

I hope this busy holiday time of year finds you all in good spirits and concentrating on friends, family and how you will spend your well-earned time off from work! I hope that no one is stressing over fulfilling year-end CPE requirements because all of our Canton Chapter Technical sessions for the calendar year have been successfully completed, which totaled 11.5 Hrs from September through December!

As we look toward the new year, I hope that instead of merely planning for the upcoming month-end, quarter-end, and fiscal year-end closes you also take some time to assess your involvement and what you can give back to this great local organization which has benefitted you for years. A couple of our long standing board members will be completing their final year of service on the board, and we will be taking nominations in the month of January, followed by elections in February for the new terms which will begin in June of 2015. Keep your eyes open for communications specifically addressing this topic and providing more details.

We are also looking forward to kicking off 2015 with our annual tax update on January 20th! This tech session will be presented by the team from Bruner Cox and will be hosted at Skyland Pines. We hope to see you there!

Finally, we have scheduled our Spring technical sessions. Be sure to mark your calendar to make sure you can join us.

From all of us at Canton IMA, we wish you joyful holidays and a successful new year!
