Tucker Marshall, VP Financial Planning & Analysis
Tucker Marshall is a Vice President of Financial, Planning & Analysis at The J. M. Smucker Company, a leading marketer and manufacturer of branded consumer food products primarily serving the North American marketplace. In this role, Mr. Marshall focuses on financial planning and analysis, mergers and acquisitions, financial-decision making, capital structure formation, and the cash deployment needs of the organization. Mr. Marshall joined The J. M. Smucker Company in the summer of 2012 after spending eight years in private equity.
Prior to joining The J. M. Smucker Company, Mr. Marshall worked for The Reserve Group, a Northeastern Ohio family-based private equity firm.
His primary responsibilities included leading, supporting, and working with teams on the identification, the execution, and the integration of acquisition and divestiture opportunities.
Before that, he served as an Associate in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group of LaSalle Bank, N.A.,
located in Chicago, Illinois.
Mr. Marshall has a Masterís of Business Administration from the J. L. Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University (June 2009). Mr. Marshall was graduated from Gettysburg College with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Accounting, and Finance in May of 1999. In addition to his time at Gettysburg, Mr. Marshall spent the summer of 1998 studying at the London School of Economics in London, England. Mr. Marshall attended Western Reserve Academy during his high school years.
In addition, to his business background, Mr. Marshall is a director on the Mobile Meals Foundation board; Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park board; a graduate of Leadership Akronís Class 28; and a recipient of the 30 for the Future Award. Previously, Mr. Marshall served on the on the Greater Akron Musical Association board; on the Physicians Practice Group board of Akron General; on the Child Guidance Family Solutions Foundation board; on the ideastream Public Radio & Television board; on the Western Reserve Academy Alumni Association board; and served as an advisor to the Kellogg Venture Community board. Mr. Marshall and his wife, Holly, and their sons, Tucker and Reid, live in Akron, Ohio.
