Message from the President

Hello IMA Canton Chapter!

There have been so many noteworthy events this summer within the Canton Chapter that I donít know where to start!

First, I want to recognize our dedicated hardworking board and all of you who have attended Tech Sessions and earned CPE and done community service with the Chapter. Your efforts helped us to come in 3rd place in the Warner Division for the 2013-2014 competition year!

Rolling that momentum into next year is what we are focusing on this summer, and it will be an easy task with four new and enthusiastic board members who are already contributing ideas to refresh our Chapter. Keep reading future editions of this newsletter for bios on our board members, new as well as old!

New Additions:

We would like to welcome all of the Ohio Mid-Eastern chapter members into our ranks as we successfully completed a chapter merger! This action will create efficiencies as we strive to provide high quality training and networking opportunities within our communities.

We also want to congratulate three board member families who have welcomed baby girls into the world within the last three months! The future of the Canton Chapter will be in good hands!

I hope to see you at our first Tech Session, which will be student night at Malone University on September 16th!

Jesse Allison, CPA
2013-2104 President
